How Hearing Works
The human ear is a masterpiece of engineering. Intricate and minute structures inside the ear work together to transform incoming soundwaves into electrical signals that are received by nerve fibres, transmitted to the auditory centre of the brain, and interpreted by us, all within a matter of milliseconds!
Here’s a selection of online diagrams, descriptions, animations, and podcasts to help you make sense of it all!
